HOW IT WORKS
At Back Alley Boards, we believe every board holds a story worth telling. Maybe it’s the board that survived it all, a board that’s been with you through every ride, or one that’s been sitting around, waiting for a second chance. Let us help you transform yours into art that keeps the ride alive.
THE PROCESS
Step 1: Submit Your Idea
Our order form is coming soon and once it’s live, you’ll be able to fill it out with your design ideas and the specs of your current board. Whether you have a specific image in mind or just a few thoughts, we’re here to listen. After we receive your submission, we’ll set up a virtual meeting with you and our team to discuss how to bring your vision to life. OR, if you really trust us, we’ll just take your notes and get right to work.
Step 2: The Design Process
If you opt for a check-in meeting, bring your Pinterest boards, reference pics, or just an open mind. Whatever inspires you, we’ll make it happen. From there, the three of us will manage everything from prepping and upcycling your board to applying the finishing touches. We shape your board into something that doesn’t just look incredible but tells its own unique story.
Step 3: Ready-Made Boards
Not ready for a custom project? We’ll also have ready-to-buy pieces. We drop limited-edition collections every season featuring original designs by our team. These boards come pre-made and are available for immediate purchase.
Step 4: Final Touches & Delivery
Once your board is finished, we’ll handle all the final details, including hardware installation and eco-friendly packaging. We’ll also coordinate local drop-off and pick-up plans. For now, we’re accepting local orders for snowboards only and our home bases are in Concord, Dover, and Manchester, New Hampshire. Send us a message to find out if you’re within our location radius. Shipping, pricing details, and a timeline for our skate/surfboard offerings are in the works. We’ll update you as soon as they’re available.
